German-African Business Association

The German-African Business Association (AV) is a national, cross-sector foreign trade association for German businesses and institutions which are interested in economic collaboration with countries in Africa. In its capacity as a well-connected intermediary link, it promotes the exchange of information between German and African economic and political representatives. What is more, we promote a new vision of Africa in Germany; Africa as the continent of opportunity.

Gesellschaft für internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ)

As a service provider in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development and international education work, GIZ is dedicated to shaping a future worth living around the world. The Business Scouts for Development programme, implemented on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and its trade fair experts advise companies from developing countries and emerging economies on taking part in trade fairs in Germany and Europe to make the most of their trade fair visits and acquire new customers and business partners. This enables local companies to safeguard production and jobs and grow their business activities.
